In the constrain manager go to View->Options
under the Main window tab select the checkbox for "Worksheet selector" and you should be able to see all the worksheets including Electrical.
In reply to Pawandeep:
I'm only able to see the following worksheets:
Physical, Spacing, Same Net Spacing, Properties and DRC.
Do you know if this option is available for all version. I'm currently using the version 16.3.
In reply to Cadence GDD:
OrCAD PCB Designer 16.3 does not have an electrical tab. 16.3 did not have support for Diff pair or min.max length. This was introduced in version 16.5
EMA Design Automation
In reply to BillZ:
I have OrCAD PCB Designer 16.6 and I too do not have an electrical tab. You say it was in 16.5 - was it removed in 16.6 ? Perhaps it was moved. Tried all the other worksheet -cannot see anywhere I can create diff pair. thnx -driving me nuts!
In reply to PaschalBaylon:
Depends on the license level. There are two types of OrCAD PCB Designer, Professional and Standard. If you only have a Standard License then you won't see the Electrical tab. If you have Professional you will. Look at the very top of the screen in PCB Editor. It will say either OrCAD PCB Designer Standard or OrCAD PCB Designer Professional
In reply to steve:
That explains it -so with a standard licence can not do diff pairs - via constraint manager -need to do them directly as I draw. (Only irrating thing is I have a paid license - cannot do this- but I do a bit of part time teaching, my students have a free academic license and they can!). Its only a few tracks - no problem.
Talk to the company (Cadence Channel Partner) you bought the software from. There should be a Tutor license available for non-commercial work.
