How can I generate gerber files for the silkscreen and the solder mask?
I can only select Top GND Power Bottom in the Film control window(all etch layer) But if found no way to select or generate silksreen and soldermask or any other...
It is with Orcad PCB Editor 16.0
You have to add the additional Gerber Film layers to your design. In Allegro, we simply create (Add new layer) in the film control a new Film Layer; display what we want for the gerber layer; then do a "Match Display" for that Film Layer.I'm not sure about Orcad PCB
HHOOOOO thank you Right click then ADD have not the same effect then just click the Adds Buttom...
The "Add" button lets you load a previously saved file of settings, basically a list of axlCreateFilm statements.
Use RMB>Add to add the "other" films to your output, select just the other films and use RMB>Save within the tree control, this will save a file with your settings for the "other" films.
On your next design, you can then use the "Add" button to load the saved definitions for the "other" films.
I believe Bob is speaking about the "Load" button at the bottom of the form which allows you to load in saved film records. The "Add" button allows you to add a new film record to the film control form. The film record will be added with the class/subclasses that are currently visible - you can use the visibility to determine what you want in the film record prior to adding it.
