Is there a way to create a property that cannot be changed inside a .brd file? It could also be that it cannot be seen inside the brd file without using skill to access it? According to the documentation on axlDBCreatePropDictEntry this should be possible, but I've had no luck defining such a property.
E.g., I've tried the following where the t at the end should denote hidden according to the documentation.
axlDBCreatePropDictEntry("Rev" "STRING" "SYMBOLS" nil "" t)
This does not work however.
you hide a property from the UI but you can't create a property that is read-only

If I create the property listed above on a .dra file - I can still see it using show element and Edit, Properties inside a .brd file.
It still appears visible in the UI (Edit->Properties... and Show Element) for me in 16.01 S49.
