I am new to First Encounter and I have a question about multithreading.
I am running it on a Fedora Core 3 box with and Intel Core 2 Duo, and
during globalDetailRoute and other CPU-intensive operations I have one
core almost always at 100% utilization while the other is idle. It's
inconsistent, however, and will flip flop between the two cores. The
Text Command Reference mentions the -cpu flag for verifyGeometry (and
that it requires additional licenses for each additional thread), but
are there similar options for globalDetailRoute and other commands?
Thanks in advance for any assistance,
Hi Mike,To use multi-threaded nanoroute, you need to set a variable. You can do it in the gui on the NanoRoute form, or command line:setNanoRouteMode envNumberProcessor 2- Kari
