My log file shows: "environment variable TMPDIR is '/tmp/"
When in the flow should I:
' setenv TMPDIR /user/me/tmp '
...to prevent EPS from using the /tmp/ directory on our machines.
Why would you do that? Do you need these "tmp"-files ?
If not, you should leave it as is to prevent you from exceeding the quota of your home directory.
In reply to marten:
There are generated by EPS automatically during analyses.
Not only /user/ but anywhere really.
The grid machines where EPS is run purposely only have a few 100 MB of storage and can fill up quickly, we have other highspeed, dedicated disks for temp files.
