I am a little confused on the use of the circuit conditions tool in spectre. Will spectre highlight a transistor when it is operating in active region or when the device is in its triode region?
It indicates the transistors in the linear region and the bjt in the saturated region
In reply to battu:
I understand this function, but say I am biasing a transistor at the edge of triode ...Will this be highlighted? Say I can clearly see on DC annotation that my transistor is in saturation ie Vgs-Vth < Vds....why is the transistor still highlighted? An example of this would be a simple diode connected transistor.
