I'm installed ic5141( subversion 135) on rhel5 and configured SGE 6U4
Have queue on SGE cluster:
all.q (8 hosts)
2host.q (2 hosts)
I have read the distproc.pdf file
I'm vi a queue_config_file for flowing
I hat to set :setenv LBS_CLUSTER_MASTER mnode ; setenv LBS_BASE_SYSTEM LBS_SGEand added asimenv.distributed copyMode boolean t, asimenv.distributed loginShell cyclic "csh", asimenv.distributed remoteShell "rsh", asimenv.distributed queueName string "2host.q" in .cdsenv file
but when I used cdsqmgr process was run with queue_config file
[root@mnode software]# which cdsqmgr/software/cadence/IC5141135/tools/bin/cdsqmgr[root@mnode software]# /software/cadence/IC5141135/tools/bin/cdsqmgr /software/queueconffile [root@mnode software]# Incorrect config file format!Check config file format and try again!
(i haven't understand yet, how queue_config file works)
It say in distproc.pdf
Syntax:queue_1_name N_-_number_of_hosts_in_queue_1host_1 job_limit_for_host_1_on_queue_1host_2 job_limit_for_host_2_on_queue_1...host_N job_limit_for_host_N_on_queue_1
but i haven't understand yet,give me a queue_config_file example ,Please.
What 's mean /software/cadence/IC5141135/share/cdssetup/lbs/SGE/README.TXT

cdsqmgr and the queue_config file are only used if you're using the basic "LBS" system. They are not used for SGE - so you do not need to worry about setting that.
You should just have to set LBS_BASE_SYSTEM (not LBS_CLUSTER_MASTER). Nothing else. I don't think you really need the job profile stuff either - I've never actually played with that though.
In reply to Andrew Beckett:
Hi Andrew,thinks for your help.
I'm only set LBS_BASE_SYSTEM LBS_SGE in .cshrc

Since I'm rather busy over the next few days with my "day job" (responding on this forum is something I do in my spare time), I would suggest contacting Customer Support to help debug this. There is also a button on the Setup->Simulator/DIrectory/Host form in ADE to check the setup - that may reveal something useful.
