Hello.I have a certain design wherein Im using a number of nmos4 transistors from the PRIMLIB library. I wish to connect the bulks of all of them transistors to ground.Hence I created wires frm the bulk and left them floating and gave the same name to all those wires. Then I used gnd from the analogLib and created another wire from it and gave it the same name as well. That is im using named connections instead of physically connecting the bulk to the ground to make my schematic look clean. But its giving me an error which I dont understand why.( N.B. the name of the wire that i made is bulk_conn)The error reads: Net "bulk_conn" shorted to net "gnd!" Net "bulk_conn" shorted to net "gnd!" Why is this happening? am I not allowed to make connections like these? What exactly is going wrong here?Best Regards,Aijaz.(i've included a sreenshot of my schematic view..its a crude way to show the connections..bt i guess its fast :) )
You cannot name nets connected to global nets like gnd! AFAIK. It creates error. Please remove other name on the nets conneted to the bulk and name them as gnd!. That should alleviate the problem.
