I was wondering if it is possible in my ADEXL prerun script to get the run mode of the ADEXL session that started the script. Basically, I would like to update design varibles if the current run is a Monte Carlo run (based on another Monte Carlo sim). However, if it is a Single Run, Sweeps and Corners, then I would like to do nothing with the variables. Any ideas how to do this?
I'm not sure if this is possible using a public function, currently (it might be, but I couldn't find it). So please contact customer support as it may need an enhancement to provide a public function.
In reply to Andrew Beckett:
One slightly messy solution might be to use:
This should return a list of the iteration number when running in monte carlo, and nil otherwise (because the function will, I think, throw an error, and the errset will catch it and just return nil).
However, I'd really recommend contacting customer support so a clean interface can be provided.
