Hi Im using diva (ivDRC) for running drc. For a particular rule if there are any errors that have common area, diva is generating a merged error marker of the two errors. Does diva merge error markers or it has to do anything with the rule I wrote.BR,
I don't believe coincident errors will be merged - I've not seen that happen before, so I suspect it's something in the rules themselves.Regards,Andrew.
Hi,Attached is the gif image which explains the merging. If you closely observe the white marker layer it is actually a merge of two errors of same rule. What should have been two different errors is being merged by Diva. Is it due to the rule or anything else. The rule is seperation between the two layers.BR,
FYI. For the same database even assura gave the same Merged error.
I'm sure this must be a function of how the rule has been implemented.Andrew.
Can raw be used with drc() only
There's a good reason why Cadence provides documentation...If you search the Diva Reference Manual /doc/divaref/divaref.pdf if you can't use cdsdoc, you'll find that offGrid() also supports the raw keyword. As does geomSize. As does saveDerived. There are also a number of commands that generate "raw" data.So please read the manual. That's what it's there for.Regards,Andrew.
