PSPICE Student Version

Where can I find the free student version of PSPICE?

  •  Hello and welcome to the community!

I don't know for sure, but there is a free demo version you can download at the very bottom of this page.

You can also check on the OrCAD community forums.

    Hope that helps!

  • My experience is that it is impossible to download the demo version of orcad 16.0 (to the UK) because the connection is dismally slow and always breaks long before the full 700MB arrive. Try the link for "Submit request to receive a hard copy of the OrCAD 16.0 Demo" instead. I received a CD promptly.
  • It has been my experiance that you should always use some sort of a download manager when attempting to download even smaller packages from different ISV's.  There are many good (free) ones available.  I happen to like "orbit" (http://www.orbitdownloader.com), which integrates nicely with firefox as well as IE, and can overlap downloads by splitting it into several segments which are downloaded in parallel, which speeds up the transfers over lower latency links.

And while it may not apply to the demo version mentioined here, when accessing production releases of cadence software, always make sure you are pointed at the "closest" server, since there are several worldwide mirrors available.
