PSPICE Simulation Statistics

 Hi All,

Is there any way to get simulation statistics like 'Newton Failure Nodes' and 'Timestep devices' in PSPICE? This information is useful for speeding up simulations in switching circuits (by finding out which parts of the circuit are taking longer time and making changes).

 Thanks

Dylan

  • I think that, all the stats you will get are from accounting .ACCT and that doesn't look to include the parameters that you are looking for. Edit the PSpice Simulation Profile, go to Options tab, Select Output file in the left hand list and check the box for "Accounting (ACCT)". If you are using an Options file, rather than the UI for the Simulation Profile, add a "control card" for ".ACCT" I can't find the parameters that you mention for "regular SPICE" so these may be some vendor specific extensions.
