The ARMMS RF and Microwave Society is an independent professional society comprised of individuals with interest in the design and measurement of devices and products operating at RF and Microwave frequencies. The Society serves as a focal point for discussions on a wide range of topics and, in particular, aspects relating to design, CAD, and measurement automation. Meetings are held each year and include the presentation of technical papers, panel discussions and the distribution of a printed digest of the proceedings.
The 2022 Spring Meeting was hosted from April 25 to April 26 in Oxford, UK, with a total of 15 paper presentations. In honor of the late European AWR Director, Steve Evans-Pughe, Cadence continued sponsoring the Steve Evans-Pughe Best Paper Award.
The Best Paper Award went to “An Introduction to White Rabbit for Sub-nanosecond Network Synchronisation,” presented by Alex Scarboro from Rathera Limited.
The runner-up award went to “Challenges and Opportunities of 3D Printing in Microwave and Sub-terahertz Devices," presented by Yi Wang from the University of Birmingham.
Cadence wants to wish a heartfelt congratulations to both Alex Scarboro and Yi Wang! It is always a great experience to hear from leaders in the industry about the amazing work they’re doing.
ARMMS is a non-profit organization and is managed by an executive committee of ten people who are all active in the RF and Microwave industry. For further information on the ARMMS RF & Microwave Society, please visit our website: www.armms.org.
