Recognition at Cadence takes many forms. We have programs like peer-to-peer recognition, innovation, and patent awards, and, of course, there are the day-to-day moments of appreciation for hard work from managers.
Recently, we were incredibly excited to honor nine employees with the Cadence Achievement Award, the highest level of company recognition for individual employees at Cadence. This award is given to employees whose accomplishments have had a substantial impact on the company’s success. This year’s winners included members of our sales, research and development, and human resources teams from the US, India, and Taiwan. They are role models of Cadence’s company values and high-performance culture and were recognized for multi-year efforts shaping the employee experience, creating strong business opportunities with our customers and developing game-changing products.
Selecting the winners is a very thorough and thoughtful process. Leaders across the company submit nominations from their teams, outlining the employee’s accomplishments, impact to the business, and the company values they exemplify backed by written endorsements from customers and colleagues. The winners are selected by the Executive Management Team.
Awardees are flown in from around the globe so they can be recognized at our company-wide all hands meeting and attend a special dinner with the executive management team and the CEO. It’s a special moment for our awardees, employees, and executive team that demonstrates the values-driven and innovative spirit of our culture.
