I'm trying to set up cross probing between OrCAD Capture CIS and Allegro PCB Editor. How do I accomplish this? Thanks!
In Capture under Options - Preferences - Miscellaneous tab make sure enable intertool communciation is checked. Then re-create your netlist and re-import it into PCB Editor and you should be good to go.

Thanks Steve. I used that method in the past, but I thought that it was just a work-around. All other CAD programs I've ever used have a much simpler and safer way of cross probing.

One thing to remember is that it is a one time setting (unless your capture.ini file becomes corrupt). So it's as simple as it could be. On any new designs you just create the netlist as you would have to anyway......
My setup only probes one way, is this normal? If I grab a part in the schematic it zooms to the part, if I try the other way nothing happens. I've just generated a new netlist and imported so that's not an issue after reading this and searching the forum.

Correct. If you want to work from PCB Editor - Capture then you need to invoke a command like Display - Highlight or Display - Assign Color, then select what you want to see and it will highlight in PCB Editor and Capture.
