How do I create a '+' shaped slot in 16.2?
Draw the slot using board geometry / outline. Then using z-copy create a route keepout / all shape. When you come to output the data for the fabricator either send him a dimensioned drawing as part of a gerber file or use manufacture - nc - nc route. You will need to make sure you define the nc route tools to the diameter of the sot though. Look to define ncroutebits.txt in the job directory as follows
dimension tool no

You should draw the slot as a shape - not a line - to be able to use z-copy.

Thanks for the answer Dave, but the slot is square ended, how do I get a round ended one?
When drawing the shape use the options menu to change between line 45, line orthogonal or arc to draw your shape. each time you LMB you can then change the line type from straight to arc and back again.
