For example, i should seperate the Die pad of Die bonding package components.
I found the net files are based on the whole device, if I seperated them, I try to assign the net name on each PIN, but i got the message: only component PINS can be assigned.
Then how to assign net name to those seperated pins? Supposed I can't update the schematic.
I have the same question here How to asign a net name to a mechanical PAD ?
Can anyone give a indications ?
Thanks and Regards
In reply to msm2012:
I solved it , just delete the net name ,delete txt
In reply to newstyle:
Sorry i did not get it.
I placed mechanical pads on the board and I wanted to assign a net name to it.
How to do that ?
oh, i see. my reply is from Net pin to be mechanical pin.
Then, you need add part netlist, add a new part in this list, then you creat net name and assign.
net name can only be assigned on component pins, so firstly make this mechanical part is a component.
