Is there a way to add the Room Property to all of the components (resistors, capacitors,ics, etc) on a Concept HDL schematic page at the same time? I have found out how to add it to a single component and also how to copy it from one component to another but it would save alot of time to be able to assign them all at once.Here's crossing my fingers that it can be done and I just don't know how.Donna
You can group the components using Group -> Create. Selecting the components by window and check the ConceptHDLconsole window to see what group letter was created. Here is an example of the console output:select AUsing group "A"Group "A" contains: 2 bodies 179 properties 0 notes 0 wires 0 dots 0 imagesThen type the following in the ConceptHDL console window. auto prop A ROOM=DDR2This will add the Room Property with the value of DDR2 to the component bodies that are in the defined group "W". You can use the find command from the CHDL command line to add elements into a group. For example if you want to add all the resistors into a group you'd type "find resitors" - this would find all comps of type resistors and add them into group A, then you can perform an action on the group - like "move a" (which would move group A), or as Mike mentions "auto prop A ROOM=DDR2", and this would add the ROOM property to group A

This selects all components in the schematic not all components on the page. Anyone know how to limit this to one page?
