I have a StringField, that looks like this:

Is there a way to set to Focus to a field?

If I understand your question right you whant to set the
focus to one of the dialog box buttons 'Yes' or 'No'?
There is an argument for the 'hiDisplayAppDBox' function
Have a look at the 'Cadence User Interface SKILL Functions Reference',
Chapter 4, Dialog Boxes.
'Example, if the s_buttonLayout
argument is set to 'YesNo, and the x_defaultButton is set
the No button will be the default button.

Thank you for your replies. The button-thing from Bernd is another thing I was looking for.
Actually, what I want, is that, if the user enters a path, that is detected as wrong or not existing - there is the DialogBox, that informs the user when he exits the path-Stringfield by clicking into or onto another element on the form.
Then, when he clicks on YES, the focus should be back in the path-stringfield instead of the element he clicked on.
The hiSetCurrentField(); doesn't work somehow - is there another thing that can do the trick or is there anything to beware of by using this function?

Thanks for that solution Bernd.
I was wondering if the problem is, that if you exit the StringField by clicking into another Field
-1st: the callback routine is execute, where there is the command for setting the focus into the same Field, where the user just entered the "wrong text"
-2nd: the system handles the Click of the user afterwards and sets the focus in a diffrent field, where the user had clicked....
Maybe there could be a solution with a timer or something similar, although this seems like breaking a fly on the wheel.
