I'm trying to create a custom key-binding in Cadence 5.14 for wavescan. I would like to zoom in/out at the point where my cursor is located with a single key-press.
But this obviously requires me to then click the mouse to tell the awvFastZoomInCB() where to zoom in at.
I also tried:

But that didn't work. the geSelectPoint only works on graphics editor windows. I couldn't find an equivalent awv command.
Any ideas out there as to what other method I could use?

However, the fundamental problem is that you're really asking for "infix" type behaviour, and wavescan/ViVA does not support that right now. There's an enhancement CCR 446407 asking for this. If you want this, the best thing to do is to contact Cadence Customer Support and ask for this, and a duplicate CCR can be filed. As more customers ask for this, the priority is likely to go up...

Wavescan does have some mechanism for polling the mouse since it asks for a mouse click. However, I don't know if this translates to a command which passes the mouse position to the zoom command without requiring the mouse click.
