Back-annotation of what? Your question is rather imprecise...Andrew.
I need to simply back-annotate W, L, and NF (number of fingers). Eventually, R, C for passives.

It's still pretty vague. If these are CDF parameters, and you have the ILLabelscdsParam(1), cdsParam(2) etc on the symbol, you can use Edit->Component Display (I think that's the menu) in the schematic editor to control which CDF parameters get displayed in each cdsParam slot...Regards,Andrew.

Hi Andrew, when i back annotate the region of operation of operation, cadence shows numbers, which refer to a particular region of operation. Is there a method to show the region (eg:sat, linear, off) instead of numbers.ThanksAmarnath
You could always use your own label display function on a symbol to do the translation.However, you may be better off using the circuit conditions tool (Results->Circuit Conditions in ADE) to highlight devices in differentregions in different colours...Regards,Andrew.
Nice idea, could be usefull, however in my case, the bsim3v3 model af the transistor sim ADE -> Result -> Circuit Conditions... The "region" caracteristic is not available (see attached print screen). How come ?Did I do something wrong ?Any idea ?Regards

Exactly the same way as you do it with spectre. If you're using Mentor's eldoD interface, or the Cadence hspiceD interface, then backannotation should work. The mechanism is the same - if the data is in the psf files, then it can be backannotated.Regards,Andrew.
