That's not a trivial job - you'd need to ensure all the information needed to correctly netlist each component is set up in the CDF - the parameter mapping, the terminal orders, etc. The stopping view itself is the trivial part (that's normally just a copy of the symbol) - it's defining the CDF properly so that each component netlists correctly for that simulator and models is a little more work. If the foundry have provided Eldo models, it's a little strange that they haven't provided the PDK setup to support it. It may be they have a flow to enable this though - hence my suggestion to contact whoever you got the PDK from.

Indeed, there is no EldoD view.

In fact, I have models for Eldo, Hspice and spectre in my PDK folders. So, do I need to create the Eldo view in cadence by my own ?

Best regards,

Sylvain.

RE: Eldo netlist generation with ADE L.

My guess is that the PDK you're using doesn't support Eldo (Eldo is not a Cadence tool - it's from Mentor (as Siemens company)). You should look (in the library manager) for the component P_LV_18_MM in the library UMC_18_CMOS and check if it has any eldoD views - I assume not, because it wouldn't have failed otherwise. If it doesn't have the stopping views, it's unlikely to have the CDF setup for eldoD either, so picking another view name won't help.

Perhaps you could simulate with Spectre instead? If you really want Eldo support you'd need to contact the foundry to see if they support a version of the PDK that supports Eldo.

Regards,
