Hey community hope you can help me with this one:
How can I add PSpice Model to the CIS database?
I have managed to get an op-amp simulating, but how can this be done without manual adding .lib file to the project?
This is how i do it now:
this last point needs to be done every time when someone wants to simulate a component, how can this be obtained from the database?
You may want to create a global lib, keep all such models in this and configure that lib in your setup once. This will eliminate the need of last step (step 3). Since CIS is not aware of your simulation model, this can not be put in effect as database operation.
In the past I've used OrCad Capture CIS 9.1 and 9.2 student editions since they were free for my simulations. We use Capture CIS 16.0 in lab and is what we are supposed to use for our simulations. I downloaded a demo of 16.3 because (as I understand it) Cadence no longer offers a "student" version.
Does anyone know of a way to purchase a student license of OrCad Capture? I'd be willing to spend up to around $150. This software is damn near impossible to pirate (have to set up a local licensing server, etc) as I'm sure many of you have found. I've used tools like multisim and LTSpice but none of these have the CIS option like OrCad which makes doing simulations of specific components rather difficult.
TL;DR Does Cadence sell single user student license of OrCad Capture? https://tutuapp.uno/ , https://9apps.ooo/ , https://showbox.kim/
associate PSpice model to symbol in the symbol library file. add component to schematic via cis. add . lib file for PSpice model to project ( PSpice->Edit Simulation Profile->Configuration Files->Library->Browse.. -> Select . lib and click Add to Design)
shareit pc installvidmate.com Vidmate APK
PSPICE user manual is of no use, had checked that. now by going through some tutorial provided by Texas Instru, got to know how to create a model but now the problem is i am getting this error while running the simulation and have no idea how to resolve "ERROR(ORPSIM-15108): Subcircuit LM741/NS used by X_U5 is undefined"
