Can you create AA enabled components for PSpice advanced analysis?

So,

I'm trying hard to understand this, reading the Advanced Analysis help does not help to understand.

It looks like, say, Smoke analysis require just a certain set of parameters to be attached to the symbol but if I derive a new schematic part for, say, a resistor AA enabled (by copying, pasting to my library) Smoke analysis does not work for the newly created symbol - as soon as I change the name from RESISTOR to say RES_0603

So the question is: is this what is meant to be? AA is possible only with the boilerplate  "AA enabled" components from the provided libraries and that's it?

I thought it cannot be as, when you create a new custom PSPICE model using the model editor, you can add smoke parameters - what would be the point if smoke analysis cannot be performed then??

I'm flabbergasted.

I cannot understand if this is the issue or if I have not understood how to make it work..

Please bring me out of my misery.
Thanks
