I would like to be directed to an inexpensive, yet useful book on the syntax for skill coding.
I know where the axl Commands are and what is shown there, but this is only a part of the coding process.
I need to know things like "What does the '%' stand for?", "What is the difference between an sprintf and fprint?" and so forth.
Your suggestions would be appreciated.
SKILL is fundamentally LISP but has some shades of C, try the sklangref.pdf in the doc\sklangref directory of the installation. Sprintf will print formatted text to a buffer, basically a target string, Fprintf will print formatted text to a file, in a similar fashion to the C runtime.
