Opening legacy Allegro/OrCAD files in the cloud-based platform

Hello,

I recently started a position at an academic institution, taking over for another designer. They used Allegro to do some PCB designs which I need to manipulate. I got access to Allegro (OrCAD?) using an academic single-user license, but find that it is a cloud-based platform, whereas the original files were created on a PC-based platform. I don't appear to be able to import the legacy files into the cloud-based environment - the cloud-based file manager does not see most of my file system (I don't understand the reason for this). Is it possible to open "legacy" project files on the cloud-based system? How is this done?

i have the academic free trial and i can see it on my "my products". i tried downloading orcad X and it shows this message:

"Cannot download files because of the following error: The remote server returned an error: (404) Not Found."

i tried uninstalling everything related to cadence and orcad from the control panel, tried restarting the pc and some people around me have the same problem

Transferring Files from Cloud to Local Computer

Hello,

I am currently using the University free trial of Cadence on the Cloud version, and recently got a full license.

I want to transfer the files I have been working on to my local computer. When I use the copy to local device option it says it transferred the file path but does not designate where it sent it?

I would appreciate some guidance on how to properly transfer files from the Cadence Cloud to my local computer, and access the files. Thanks.

I have attached the simulation log file, PSpice netlist of LM324 and snapshot of simulation setup for your reference.

I'm trying to use UVM RAL to write a single register field without affecting the other fields, but it seems it is not possible unless some specific hardware is implemented.

But since task uvm_reg_field::write is provided in UVM environment, I think I'm missing some sw setting rather than HW. I have tried with .individually_accessible option but with no effect.

Please let me know if any suggestion!

How to attach a custom server as object storage to GitLab without relying on S3 or GCP solutions?

I am currently trying to migrate from bitbucket web-version to GitLab community and I'm thinking of hosting it my self. In here I need to attach a different server as object storage to GitLab. However, I want to avoid using solutions like Amazon S3 or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Are there any alternatives or approaches available to achieve this?

I have explored GitLab's documentation and various online resources, but most of the information seems to focus on integrating with cloud-based object storage providers. My requirement is to connect GitLab with a custom server that acts as an object storage solution.

Could someone please provide guidance on how to accomplish this? Any pointers, suggestions, or examples would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I was not able to find any documentation (in the tool) to the below attributes:

.zero_pin_live_slave_clock_isolation_cell

.zero_pin_live_slave_reset_isolation_cell

.zero_pin_live_slave_set_isolation_cell
.map_to_zero_srpg_pin_cells

It seems that they do not impact the Genus runs.Where can i find userdocumentation of the above attributes? How to instruct the Genus tool to add isolation cell on clock,set,reset pin of zero pin retention flop?

Hello,

The OnCloud information (specifically for the Multiphysics Analyst role) states that there is "Virtually unlimited computational bandwidth." I have a few questions regarding this topic:

What exactly are the CPU and memory specifications for the machines provided with OnCloud usage?
Does CPU availability or memory scale differently when a simulation is running? (Perhaps adding capability to finish simulations faster)
Are there HPC licenses provided with OnCloud to allow for utilization of many cores? If so, is there a limit to the number of cores used for simulation?
