subdesign suffix separator problem

Hi all, I encounter a question about the subdesign suffix separator. When I setup the separator as "/",the result is what I expected in Allegro, the reference desiganators of reuse blocks are all with "/", like "U14/5". but when I set back the separator as "_", and then packaging the schematic, the "/" of ref des can't change back to "_", the expected result is something like "U14_5".

Could anyone  explain what the problem is? Is this operation one-off and irreversible? Thanks in advance.

Have you made sure that the Package Option radio button is set to 'Repackage' and not 'Preserve'?
