I have an existing decal and want to change the pin numbering without having to delete and add the pins again with a differnt number for the pins ie vreg versus mossfet. Is there a simple way to do this

Re: Changing PCB Decal Pin Numbers

I was thinking prior I would select the pin and edit its number but now the trying to change the text doesn't work for me either but yes I was in the .dra file

I selected Edit - Text and that solved it. To edit the Pin number you MUST be in the symbol editor and be editing the filename.dra file. Edit the pin names here then save and then update the symbol in the design. Remember this is tied to the netlist from the schematic so pin numbers must match.

Re: Changing PCB Decal Pin Numbers

Do what Steve suggests but also go to the find tab and select "all off" then select "text".
