Every time I create a new simulation, I get an error that it cannot find the simulation file. I continue creating a simulation until a .sim file shows up on the folder and the simulation runs okay. However, when I close everything and open only the .sim file. It does not load the simulation correctly and basically have to redo the simulation. I believe this is because of the error I orginally get when I try make the simulation file.
Please let me know how to avoid this. Is this how my setting are? A specific box must be checked?
Can you explain, what do you mean when you say "It does not load the simulation correctly" ? Do you mean that it does not load simulation result? Where exatly you are trying to load only ".sim" ? in PSice or Simulation Manager?
After loading .sim, you need to click on View Simulation result button to see the simulation result.

I receive the following windows after double clicking on the .sim file. Please advise how to avoid this. Thanks!
- File does not exist
- Simulation Profile is not properly initialized
- The PSpice COM Wrapper error has occured.
- Cannot initialize profile; Can not load profile
File " is duplicated in folder 'Simulation Profiles'. The duplicate will be removed from the folder.

Could it be that Cadence 16.2 does not install correctly on Windows 7?
