hi! i am a allegero trainee. how can i add shortcut command? like for example rotate, it is time consuming when clicking right button of the mouse and then selecting rotate.
shortcuts as you wish in Allegro may be achieved by using aliases. You may assign a function key such as F5 to the rotate command and add this to your local env file above the computer generated section such as... alias F5 rotate (note the uppercase F , use SF for shift) ### User Preferences section ### This section is computer generated. ### Please do not modify to the end of the file. ### Place your hand edits above this section. ### if you modify below the computer generated section the edit will be lost. Type alias at the Allegro command prompt to see how your aliases are currently setup. You may not want to use F5. You may also, alias ro rotate , however, this would entail using a carriage return after typing ro. The function key is much quicker.
