is there a way to load Tcl Tk 8.5 when writing simvision plugins?
is there a way to load the Tcl Tile package (or other Tcl GUI packages) in simvision?
is there a c++ API for writing plugins (besides the tcl API) where i can use Qt/Gtk/Wx to create the GUI ? a java API for writing plugins?
> No. The SimVision Tcl interpreter is version 8.4. There is no way for the user to change this.
> Yes. You can use the standard Tcl "load" and "package require" commands to load your own packages. (Assuming they are compatible with Tcl 8.4.)

> No. The API for writing plug-ins is in Tcl and documented in the SimVision Tcl command reference. Please note, however, that you could write your own GUI in whatever language you like and communicate with SimVision over a socket connection. An example of using sockets with SimVision is shipped in the installation in the following directory:
In reply to Doug Koslow:
do you konw if there's any log where i can get more info to debug 'load' failures?
In reply to tomers:
Any errors from the SimVision Tcl interpreter should be displayed in the SimVision tab of the console window.
Command output can also be written to a log file using the "-log" option of the simvision command, although you should not see anything additional there compared to the Console window.
