Want to know how to learn more about Cadence tools and technologies for free? Cadence offers a variety of training services to help you get the most out of your technology investment.

You will need a Cadence Learning and Support Portal account to access our free online courses. If you are new to Cadence products, follow the simple registration process and start learning today.

There are several ways to access our free online courses. If you would like to see a complete overview of our whole training portfolio, you can go to our freshly designed Cadence Training page and navigate through the .

On the first page, you can sort by training content by clicking on the respective links.

Almost all our training courses have both an instructor-led and an online version marked with this icon

Let´s take the OrCAD X Capture Constraint Manager PCB Flow Training as an example.

You see at one glance on the learning map that there is an online version of the training available.

If you click on the link you will see the “register” button for online training.

If you click on this button, you can usually see the latest two versions of the training. If you're interested in another version, you can contact Cadence Training by clicking the “EXPRESS INTEREST” button.

Otherwise, choose the button and register for your preferred online training.

A page like this will open. Here, you can see the estimated length/average completion time of the training and if there is a Digital Badge available.

If you hit the green enrollment button on this page, you will be finally enrolled for the training (you will have to agree the “Cadence License Agreement” if you register for one of our Online-Trainings for the first time).

Now you can start with the Online training – happy learning – you can access your online training 24/7 whenever you like, and you can always continue where you last left off or repeat another chapter if necessary.

In Module 1 you will find important information about the training.

Please don´t forget to download the respective Lab & Lectures before moving to the next chapter. Scroll down to the end of the page, and you will find it at the bottom of the first page, where you can also see how to get Training Support and how you can give feedback.

If you already know which training you are searching for, the most direct way is to log into the Cadence Learning and Support Portal and choose Learning – Online Courses.

If you are already enrolled for one or more online trainings, you can see a summary of your training here in your training transcript.
