Training Insights - Product and platform pages on COS - part1

Do you access our Cadence Learning and Support Portal often or are you planning to use it more often for your daily work during the next months?

If you answer this with a "yes" it might be useful to look at our previous Blogs about the Cadence Learning and Support Portal and Follow Up with Blogs about new features, we have planned within the next months.

Today, we would like to talk about how to find Product pages on the Cadence Learning and Support Portal and their different features.

Go to https://support.cadence.com/

Accessing Platform Pages:

On the home page open the “Tools” menu and select a platform, for example “Silicon-Package-Board Co-Design” opens the platform page.

Accessing Product Pages:

The easiest way is to look for “Know more about a Product” dropdown on the home page and select the product to open respective product page.

You can also enter the page you are searching for (i.e., Allegro product page) into the search field.

You will be guided to the next page where you can easily identify all the product pages as they are marked with a unique icon.

You can also filter out all product pages by clicking on the “Product Pages Filter” in the bar on the right side of the page.

Take the Allegro X PCB Editor product page, which has been freshly updated in March 2024, as an example to show your further features and possibilities.

If you open the page, you will see very clearly, right on the top of the page, several categories related to this product.

Let´s concentrate on the Category “Trainings”!

You can see all related Trainings and Training Bytes at one glance on this page and how to contact training if you wish to take an instructor led version of the training.

There is a free Online Training 24/7 available for all customers with a Cadence Learning and Support Portal account, you can access the Online version by clicking on the respective Training link:

Allegro X PCB Editor Basic Techniques

Click on the “Online Courses” Category and you can register for your training in your desired version.

Please don´t forget to claim your Digital Badge after finishing your training.
