Cadence Academic Network (CAN) hosted a Cadence Research Workshop in Duke Kunshan University on June 1st, 2017. This Research Workshop was co-chaired by Cadence and Professor Xin Li, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Duke University and is leading the Institute of Applied Physical Sciences and Engineering at Duke Kunshan University in China. The research workshop was attended by eight CAD research professors from top four universities in Shanghai including Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Fudan University, Shanghai Tech University and Tongji University.
The workshop began with a campus tour of Duke Kunshan University that left a great impression on the visitors with its beautiful environment and fine infrastructure.
Dr. Patrick Haspel, the Global Program Director of Academic Partnerships and University Program gave a welcome speech to introduce Cadence Academic Network to the attendees and expressed his interest in collaborating with academia in Asia. Cadence R&D leaders spoke about their team and how they would like to collaborate with academia. This was followed by talks from each invited professor on their research projects.
