Cadence Academic Network recently participated in the 2016 IEEE and CEDA Workshop on Electronic Design Automation (EDA) in Taipei. The event attracted over 200 attendees from academia. This workshop was a unique opportunity for Cadence users to share their research practices and created a platform for top tier EDA universities in Taiwan to exchange their research practices.
During the event, Cadence hosted a panel and spoke to the professors and students about the Academic Network, Cadence Culture and the future of EDA.
The Ministry of Education Republic of China (Taiwan) recognized Cadence’s contribution to jointly cultivate the EDA research environment in Taiwan and awarded us with a certificate of Appreciation. Mr. Jess Yang, the Director of Cadence Taiwan R&D team also announced the winners of the 2016 CAD contest which the team was actively involved in.
This workshop on EDA well demonstrated Cadence Academic Network’s mission to further strengthen our position in Taiwan academia.
