This Week in CFD

10 Dec 2021 • Less than one minute read

Another week of CFD behind us, another weekend of experimental fluid dynamics ahead of us, and the start of 2022 not too far away. What's does this week's CFD news include?

  • Mathematicians have derived a mathematical formula with a complete description of turbulence.
  • Other researchers have studied what goes on inside a shockwave.
  • A lot of new software releases with fantastic new capabilities.

Simulation of vortex rope swirling and more will be covered in the live webinar on December 15th
on "Simulation of Hydraulic Turbines with Omnis CFD." (Click through for the link.)

So for all the CFD news that I had time to compile today, check out This Week in CFD #457 on Another Fine Mesh.

If hydraulic turbines or other types of rotating machinery are your thing, why not request a trial license of Omnis today?
