This Week in CFD

7 Sep 2021 • Less than one minute read

It's Friday, the weekend is upon us, and it's time for This Week in CFD. I am particularly grateful because today is one of Cadence's Global Recharge Days on which we can take a little R&R and step back from the work-from-home grind. But because I'm not supposed to be working today, This Week in CFD is briefer than usual. But that doesn't mean it's lighter.

  • We share several jobs within the CFD world for those who are seeking.
  • The aerodynamics of Olympic sports is covered in two articles, including one that includes a controversy. (Debate: At what point does the gear deserve the medal instead of the athlete?)
  • Of the many websites fluids lovers should visit regularly, one is flowvis.org.
  • And when it comes to the flight of butterflies, which stroke of their wings - up or down - generates lift and which generates propulsion?

All this plus software, financial, and other news is in This Week in CFD #445 on Another Fine Mesh.

Have a great weekend, everyone.
