This Week in CFD

4 Feb 2022 • Less than one minute read

As my friend Brian says, "Something weekend this way comes." But first, it's time for This Week in CFD. What makes me feel good about this week's news is the large number of events planned to be held in-person. It will be nice to start seeing you face to face again. And the CFD world doesn't disappoint when it comes to articles and applications that are truly unique.

In this week's edition, you'll read about the following:

  • February will be a great month for webinars from Cadence CFD. There will be three.
  • It's time to submit your abstract for CadenceLIVE in June.
  • A flying ship that's a solar-powered airplane/blimp hybrid.
  • Two articles about carbon nanotubes.
  • Beautiful images from a simulation of bubbles in a foamy fluid.
  • And the proverbial much, much more.

CFD simulation of a wind tunnel model of the Joint Strike Fighter in hover configuration.

All this and more in This Week in CFD #462 on Another Fine Mesh.

In anticipation of the Cadence CFD webinars later this month, maybe you can get a head start by requesting a demonstration of the Omnis CFD tools.
