Cadence India’s Flagship CSR Initiative, the Cadence Scholarship Program, Recognized

15 Jan 2023 • 1 minute read

Cadence India’s flagship Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, the Cadence Scholarship Program, has won the prestigious “CSR Times Awards 2022” in the “Education” category. The CSR Times Awards is one of the prominent CSR awards in India.

Best Higher Education Scholarship Program Initiative of the Year 2022

Earlier this year, this Program was recognized as the “Best Higher Education Scholarship Program Initiative of the Year 2022” at the Indian CSR Awards 2022.

A huge THANK YOU and congratulations to all the students, mentors, employees and our NGO partners, Joining Hands and Concern India Foundation, who have supported the Program to grow to what it is today. It is their dedication and persistence that have resulted in this prestigious recognition.

About the Program:

Cadence Scholarship Program is the flagship Program of Cadence India’s CSR efforts and is aligned with the cause of education of the underprivileged holistically. It focuses on introducing professional/vocational courses to high school graduates, leading to employability.

Many meritorious students from economically weaker backgrounds are forced to quit their dreams of pursuing higher education due to financial constraints and guidance. With the vision to ensure that these students get a chance to pursue their dreams and utilize their full potential through funding and support, Cadence started the Cadence Scholarship Program in association with Concern India Foundation and Joining Hands in 2016.

Mentorship by employees has been critical to the Program’s success. Strong employee participation has been the differentiator that makes the Program unique.

Since the program started in 2016, more than 400 students have benefited. Over 150 students have completed their courses, and more than 100 students have been employed.
