ODYSSEE A-Eye 2026.2: AI, Image Processing, and Predictive Analytics

20 Oct 2026 • 3 minute read

Engineering teams generate more data than ever before. Simulation results, test measurements, images, 3D models, sensor outputs, and structured datasets all contain valuable information. Yet transforming this information into actionable insights remains a challenge for many organizations.

This is where ODYSSEE A-Eye helps.

ODYSSEE A-Eye is an AI-powered platform that combines machine learning, image processing, predictive analytics, and reduced-order modeling technologies. It helps engineers and domain experts extract value from complex datasets and create predictive models using multiple data sources, including images, qualitative and quantitative data, 3D models, and curves.

From Data to Decisions

Engineering data is often fragmented across different systems and formats. Traditional analysis methods can struggle to uncover relationships hidden within large datasets or accurately predict future behavior.

ODYSSEE A-Eye brings advanced analytics capabilities together in a single environment. Engineers can use simulation results, test data, images, and structured datasets to build predictive models and generate insights that support more informed decision-making.

These predictive models allow teams to evaluate new scenarios, explore design alternatives, and analyze complex engineering data more efficiently.

Powerful Capabilities for Modern Engineering

ODYSSEE A-Eye combines predictive modeling, image processing, computer vision, data mining, and custom application creation in a single AI-powered environment. Engineers can generate predictions from simulation, test, image, and business data using machine learning and reduced-order modeling technologies, while leveraging image classification, detection, segmentation, and feature extraction capabilities to analyze visual data and uncover meaningful patterns. Integrated data mining and analytics help reveal trends and relationships across complex datasets, and configurable workflows enable teams to create domain-specific applications tailored to their needs through ODYSSEE A-Eye Manager and A-Eye App.

What's New in ODYSSEE A-Eye 2026.2

Building on ODYSSEE A-Eye's AI-powered analytics capabilities, the 2026.2 release introduces new validation, automation, and reporting enhancements designed to improve model confidence and streamline everyday workflows.

Evaluate Model Quality with Leave-One-Out Validation

The new Leave-One-Out validation study helps users assess database quality and model accuracy. It removes one data point at a time, predicts its response using the remaining data, and compares the prediction with the known result.

The post-processing window presents prediction errors through a parity plot, 1D curve, and PCA heatmap, helping users examine model performance across the design space. Multiple-output analysis is also supported, with a dedicated analysis tab for each supported output.

Extend Refresh in Loop to Neural Network Workflows

Refresh in Loop is now available for direct processes that use Neural Network algorithms for Classification and Detection. Previously, the capability was available only for direct or indirect processes without a Neural Network solver.

The release also adds support for STL and STEP files. Tracked folders can now contain additional files that are not used in the project, providing greater flexibility when organizing data for automated workflows.

Enhance Reporting for Neural Network Projects

HTML report generation has been extended to direct processes that use Neural Network solvers. Generated reports can now include the learning script reference, the number of training cases, and prediction method details adapted to the Neural Network workflow.

Reports also list ignored features and cases, including the column index and name of each excluded feature, supporting clearer project documentation.

Bringing AI to Engineering Workflows

Successful adoption of artificial intelligence requires more than applying algorithms to data. Organizations need tools that bring predictive modeling, data analysis, visualization, and application creation together in a practical engineering environment.

ODYSSEE A-Eye provides a unified platform that combines customization management, application deployment, predictive modeling, data mining, and visualization. This integrated approach helps engineering teams move from complex data to actionable insights efficiently and confidently.

Whether the objective is to analyze engineering data, automate image processing, evaluate predictive models, or uncover relationships within complex datasets, ODYSSEE A-Eye provides an integrated environment for applying artificial intelligence to engineering workflows.

Turn Engineering Data into Actionable Insights

As products and engineering datasets become more complex, organizations need scalable ways to extract useful knowledge from their information.

ODYSSEE A-Eye brings machine learning, image processing, data mining, and predictive modeling together to help engineers analyze complex data and support informed decisions.

Discover how ODYSSEE A-Eye can bring machine learning, image processing, and predictive analytics to your engineering workflows.
