I installed OMNIS 5.2 on my Laptop. I've got no problems with the license activation, at least it shows "Success" at the bottom left. But every time I try to start the program the icon of OMNIS appears for a few seconds, but after that it closes itself. Do you have any suggestions what might gone wrong?

What is the status shown in the License server tab?
You could also open a command prompt and go to the installation directory OMNIS 5.2/bin and launch omnis.exe with the -print argument. Which messages appear at the end in the shell?
Here is what it shows me. I also unplugged my LAN-cable and it's the same, but the NUMECA activation server reachable shows the error 404. I'm not quite sure if it's helps.

i tried to launch Omnis trough thee command prompt with the -print argument, but it shows errors, probably my "coding" is wrong. Can you tell me how I launch it with the command prompt? I'm sorry, I'm not that good when it comes to software.
My screen resolution is set on max 1366x768 and I can't get 1920x1080.
To launch Omnis through the command prompt:
1. Open the Command Prompt. It should open at your user home directory, e.g. C:\Users\Robin.
2. Go to the installation folder of omnis5.2. For example: cd C:\"Program files (x86)"\"NUMECA Software"\"OMNIS 5.2"
3. run the following: omnisClient.bat -print
