Can we run hbsp simulation on icfb5141 (MMSIM12)?
hbsp is not supported in the IC51.41 GUI . You can use pss-harmonic balance PSP in 5.1.41.
Or you can run hbsp in standalone mode. If there is any way to upgrade to IC6.1.6, I strongly recommend it.
All new functionality/development is going into IC6.1.6.

I'm leaving for 4th of July holiday in a few minutes...but let me explain briefly.
You can run any spectre/spectreRF simulation from the unix/linux command line. The simulator version you are using is hopefully MMSIM12.1 or MMSIM12.1.1. When you run from the command line, you don't have to worry about what IC version you are using.You just type in an xterm (where "mynetlist.scs" is your netlist):
Now, having said that, I don't recommend running hbsp from the command line. It's much easier (and less error prone) to run in in the IC6.1.5/6.1.6 GUI. But if you must run from the command line, to get the correct syntax, you would need to type in an xterm:
spectre -h hbsp
Again, unless you are a command line "power user", I do not recommend running hbsp from the command line. It's a lot more tricky to set up than (say) hb, hbac, and hbnoise. (Those are pretty straightforward.)
