Allegro PCB Performance Option L dies when performing "Merge Shapes"

 I am having a chronic problem of Allegro PCB Editor dies when I do a merge shape.  As far as I know, I am up to the latest revision (Version 16.01 S032).  The license version I have is Allegro PCB Performance Option L.  Is this a computor performance issue or a problem with the tool?

    The latest version is 16.01 S034 but I have never seen issues with merge shape. I would suggest a database check (Tools - database check) first to make sure your shapes are valid. and error free. If it still continues you could send the board to sourcelink.
