License Error on Allegro

Hi,

I am having a license issue on my server which has on online board extraction tool. When I run Allegro,  I get the following error:

Allegro_Expert, version 15.700 and quantity 1. The license server search path is defined as 5280@xxx.xxx.xxx.com;5280@xxx.xxx.xxx.com;5280@xxx.xxx.xxx.com;7102@xxx.xxx.xxx.com;. The FLEXnet error message is as follows,

FLEXnet ERROR(-18, 0, 0): License server system does not support this feature.

Run 'lic_error LMF-02018' for more information.'

--> When I check for the license using "C:\Cadence\psd_14.2\bin>lmutil lmstat -f Allegro_Expert -c 5280@XXXXX.XXX.XXXX.com ", I get the following error:

Can you please suggest me, what went wrong and the solution to correct it.

  • It looks like you have a valid license for Allegro_design_expert for version 16.2 but it would appear that your 15.7 version tool is looking for an Allegro_Expert feature which you don't have, hence the "-18" error. You would need to contact Cadence Support to resolve this, my 15.7 installation checks out an "Allegro_design_expert" feature and correctly uses the 16.2 version feature.
