Hello,

My VCC net does not show the rat line, just a square box with a cross going through it.

How do i get allegro to show me that rat as well as all the others

 thanks

Adrian

Nets that have a VOLTAGE property or RATSNEST_SCHEDULE = POWER_AND_GROUND property on them will display a box with an X. If you want to have the default rats lines you need to remove the VOLTAGE and RATSNEST_SCHEDULE = POWER_AND_GROUND properties

o Edit >Properties (or hover over the net and use rmb 'property edit' when in an application mode)
    o Select the net
o In the Edit Property GUI select/enable the delete checkbox for the Voltage and RATSNEST_SCHEDULE = POWER_AND_GROUND properties
    o OK the form

    Hi

Another solution is to delete the no_rat property

For large pin count nets like those you find on power and ground nets, removing the power_and_grouding ratsnesting method or deleting the NO_RAT property can have a detremental effect on overall product performance.

I don't know what your exactly mean. There is no relation whatsoever between a board performance and power/ground ratsnest. It is just like turning on and off the lights.

To turn on and off the ratsnest you can go the constraints manager > Properties > Net > General properties. No Rat column click the cell drop down on the net you want to on or off the ratsnest.
