Hello! I can not import projects from Pads and Pcad in the PCB Editor (in the screenshots). In what may be the problem?

 There is a message

Translating F:/PADS Projects/PCB54-copy11_pads.asc.
Using translator version @(#)$CDS: pads_in.exe v16-5-13BD 5/21/2012 Copyr 2012 CADENCE DESIGN SYSTEMS.
Reading PADS ASCII file header.
PARSE ERROR: Unrecognized format in header line of input file.
Line 1: !PADS-POWERPCB-V9.4-BASIC-250L-CP1251! DESIGN DATABASE ASCII FILE 1.
ERROR: Finished with errors.

The PADS ASCII header is not being recognised by the translator. "Quick hack", change the header to read V9.3, instead of V9.4. and see if the translator will run then. You may encounter some more issues further into the file since the 9.4 file version may include syntax that differs from previous versions of the PADS ASCII format, a "workaround" is to edit out the unrecognised syntax to get the file to import.

The longer term fix is to submit the data to Cadence R&D to get the translator modified to support this version of the PADS ASCII format.

All the data is for a PADS import.

The most likely reason that you cannot import a PCad project is that your PCad data is too recent to be parsed by the import routine. The PCad version supported is very old and the transltor is not maintained for the non-PC-Cards versions, see the doc\algrologic\algrologic.pdf for details of the supported file versions.

All right, I was able to import the project, the question was withdrawn. I exported from the Pads in the older version of 2007. Thank you
