Step Package mapping option not finding in setup menu

Step Package  mapping option not finding in setup menu in allegro 16.6 P004.

Plaese help me how to enable it.

     STEP mapping was added in a later release.  You are currently running the base release P004 (about 32 updates behind).  I would recommend getting the latest release installed.  STEP mapping will then be available in the menus.

    In Allegro PCB Designer (board editor): I do have the Step Package Mapping in the toolbar pull down under the Setup menu option. I am running 16.6 S039 However I do have this option in the Package editor. Any ideas how to run this mapper in the board editor?

    It runs the same in both editors.  Might have to set your steppath in User Preferences => Paths

    Thanks for the reply. I have the path setup in User Preferences. I don't have the menu select in the PCB editor, But I have the menu select in the package editor.

    Are you running any custom menus ? Check your menupath setting in User Preferences, make sure the default one from C:\Cadence\SPB_16.6\share\pcb\text\cuimenus is at the top. Your custom menu will not have these new options.
