What is it that you are trying to do with the component value if you were to be able to see it on these layers?  Are you wanting to create plots, or artwork, with this information visible?  Do you have a place holder defined in the footprint to hold this value?  What schematic capture program are you using?

Sorry for all the questions, but need to know a few of these to be able to give a good answer.

    Hi  Chad 108..

Really i have to appreciate you chad, because asking questions will improve the knowledge. Anyway the questions above mentioned are OK,  My doubt is been that for the production i have give manufacturing file with the schematic,BOM,assembly drawings.

In Assembly drawings, Component value, Tolerance, Package should to be mentioned. For that purpose i had asked the doubt above.Yes for the creating plots only it is necessary one.

What is the place holder definition place holder in footprint?  Currently we are now using the Cadence 16.3 (Capture, PCB Editor, Signal explorer, Pspice)

    Thanks & regards.

In order to phyically see the "Value" on the footprint, you will need to add a placeholder to the footprint at the symbol level.  from the menus, select Layout => Labels.  Here you you will select "Value" and click on the place you want your value to appear on the footprint.  Make sure it is getting put on the layer you want in the "Options" tab.  Then, just type in some letters for the placeholder, e.g. VAL and select Done.  Once you save the footprint, you will need to refresh the footprints at the board level in order to get the new property placeholder annotated on the footprints already in the board database.I don't use this, so don't know for sure, but you might have to read the netlist back in to populate the placeholder with the actual value from the schematic.
