Allegro screen white out

PhilH

Running Windows 10 with 16.6 and latest hotfix. Windows 10 did an update the other day and now my Allegro screen whites out if I hover over the visibility tab or if I click on any other application that is open. This is happening on multiple computers at multiple locations. Any one else experiencing this? Anyone know of a fix?

Johan, that seems to correct the situation by not maximizing the Allegro window, thanks!!!

I noticed that you have the infinite cursor. Try the following:

Unset the infinite cursor - In the Display/cursor category of the User Preferneces set the pcb_cursor variable = cross
    Does that correct the screen?
    Set the variable infinite_cursor_bug_nt
    Does that correct the screen?

It isn't a matter of setting, the problem occurs after the windows update

Hi I have noticed that the same happens if you are running win7 and 16.6 with areo turned on and have NOT turn off Disable visual themes on the allegro.exe properties. Win 10 does not have areo so this may have something to do with the issue. Have you reported this to Cadence.
