Hi,

I have problem with EDAC connector when I use Cadence 17.2 (052) hotfix.

It works with bare basic installation of 17.2 (000) and one person in the company have hotfix 40 and it seems to work too.

Anybody is use EDAC connector? Please give me some ideas.

And how can I down load an older version of hotfix?

Thanks,

Regards,

TiBo

You will need to provide some more details, like which EDAC connector, since EDAC manufactures many connectors. And what specifically is "the problem"? You can't place it, you can't route to it, or whatever? And what do you mean by "works"? You can place the Package Symbol / you can route to it, or whatever. Check the Command window in PCB Editor for any messages. If you don't have a local archive of hotfixes, it's unlikely that you will be able to get a specific hotfix via this forum.

This is perception software, it is EDA connector, this tool is attached to Orcad capture. It allows us to work with Agile to create part numbers, upload files to Agile and create the BOM.

    Thanks,

    Regards,

I believe that the old Perception Software tools are now owned by Altium, you might try contacting them to see I you can get some support for the EDA Connector. Good luck.
